The Career Pathways Network is a product designed and developed by Jim Cassio & Associates, a consulting firm specializing in workforce development, labor market research and analysis, economic development research and planning, career development tools and resources, human resources, and strategic planning. Key members of the development team include Jim, Ron Anderson (software development), and Mary Casey (art direction/graphic design).
Jim and his network of consultants, including Craft Consulting Group, have been commissioned to conduct hundreds of high-value labor market studies and have published hundreds of actionable applied research reports.
Jim has also authored several highly-regarded career planning and resource books including seminal publications on the subjects of Career Pathways and Green Careers. Jim also played a key role in the original development of O*NET – the nation’s Occupational Information Network – as the lead for two O*NET pilot projects, and continues to advise the U.S. Department of Labor on its CareerOneStop web portal.
Jim is currently involved in a wide range of regional sector strategy and career pathway initiatives, including designing and conducting workforce needs assessments, industry roundtables and skill panels, and ongoing industry/education partnerships. Clients include a variety of federal, state, and local government agencies, educational institutions, workforce development boards, economic development organizations, private corporations, and non-profit organizations.
Whether you are a student, job seeker, counselor, educator or potential client or collaborator, we invite you to contact us with your questions, ideas or requests. To make the Career Pathways Network even more useful, we need partners who will sponsor local/regional versions (portals) of the Career Pathways Network. See the North Bay Portal of the Career Pathways Network for an example.
